Garmin Nuvi 760 GPS,
The gps unit works very well. Even though it’s a discontinued model, it does everything I need and more. It wasn’t discontinued due to problems. It was only discontinued because its successor has additional features like lane assist and MSN connections I don’t need, and that’s only free for a limited amount of time, and I don’t make use of it so the trial perios would expire and I wouldn’t re-subscribe, so I’d end up with a gps that provided virtually the same things the 760 does.
The interface takes some getting used to, especially if you are used to using TomTom gps, which is what I upgraded from. Some of the “easter eggs” are interesting and useful. Easter eggs are hidden, unpublished features, like on the 760 you can press the satellite strenght indicator for a few seconds and a screen will open showing you the individual satellites’ status.
